• We apply the same method to simulation data (Horizon Run 4 (HR4) data).
• However, all of the simulation results seem to be weird at low linking-length.

Halos infalling a cluster through filaments

• Review
  • Perpendicular method
    • Straight line assumption
    • Filament not evolving.
    • Current (z = 0) nearest point is the most dominant source of effect.
• DisPerSE on all-time filaments stacked.
  • For randomly chosen 2000 segments
  • 9 sigma has less low-density segments.
  • 9 siama has (very slightly) more high-density segments than 6 sigma.
• Example halo: c00_h50380510
  • Only halo velocity
  • Filament velocity subtracted.
• c00: 40 massive halos stacked.

  • New filaments on the background filaments (for check)
  • Why theta > 90 degree at earlier epoch (which means it's going away from the filaments)?
